Mrs Palmer-Romero with Helen Clifford, Senior Care Assistant

The Gables is owned and managed by Mrs Palmer-Romero and Mr Palmer, both are Registered Mental Health Nurses.

Care staff have attained NVQ Level 2 or are currently undergoing training to attain level 2.

Many of our foreign staff, all of whom speak good English, are trained nurses or health care professionals within their own countries.

Each unit has a Senior Care Assistant, directly supervised by Mrs Palmer-Romero; the Registered Manager responsible for care. We have a Key Worker Policy, where small groups of residents are the responsibility of a Key Worker, supported by other Care Assistants.
